stainless shield bosses: updated pics!

Post by Ceddie »

These are 16ga 304 stainless shield bosses.
Outside diameter ~8 inches
inside diameter 6 inches
they are about 2.5 inches deep
they have 6 3/16 holes drilled for mounting.

I am selling them for 45.00 delivered in the Con U.S.

Thanks for looking

Edit to change pics.

The pic looks like the boss is closer to 3 in deep but in reality it is about 2.5

I may have to get in on this, too. Let me check to see if my gauntlets are likely to work. I've heard a nasty rumor that EGGs need 7" inner diameter.

Got mine last week. Posting quick review ...

Great communications and speedy shipment. Boss exactly as described. Dishing is smooth and polish good. Clean holes and lines. Is just the right depth for me (I prefer using finger/demi gauntlets vs. hockey gloves). Well worth the price for quality and service.

Ceddie, what size hole would you need to make in the center of the shield for the boss? I have BMHD cutting a shield in the next few days and need to give him a measurement, thanks.

I was told they were pressed on a 40 ton hydraulic press.
In any case, they mike out at 1.4mm at the edge.

Bosses are good stuff, folks, solid and light -- not to mention Ceddie sent it off and it was delivered BEFORE I was even able to send out payment! Thanks Ceddie, I look forward to doing more business with you in the future.

I have one of these and am very pleased with it. Strong, smooth and light. Dimensions are a good fit for my hand size (L/XL).
