Fee is a case of carling black label beer. Size of case depends on what you can afford zero is a size. Fee includes hydro propane and possibly some small amounts of materials. (rivits a bit of leather bit of steel etc.)

Only two people interested and no date suggestions?

Am I posting this too soon or are people just not interested anymore?

Huh? You have to speak mundane I'm not that big into SCA although I'm getting started.

It has to be at my place as a lot of my tools really aren't portable. This is designed as a hammer-in where everyone makes stuff not just a get together.

Hammer In

Post by Tatsuo Okami »

hey Matt
How about mid to late july?? How far is Ontario from Minneapolis? would there be a few stumps available in the area? I mean as far as getting them there and taking them Home..... I would love to show up and teach and learn and help you deal with your sudden Carling Overage... :D
I was able to attend Sir Gastons hammer in at "Global Effects" in Hollywood... this would pretty much cover the map in the other direction.
I have 2 portable beverly shears, 2 anvils and a small number of stakes. however I do have 2 sets of dishing rings and a minimal set of hammers (8-12). My welder is a little large but as long as you have enough 220 outlets I might be able to bring it also...
Keep up the Good Work

Hi Matt, I'm interested in another Ontario gathering. I really liked the one a went a few years ago. Anytime in August is good for me, september not so much, as uni will be starting back up again.

If you have your event during the last half of August, I could probably attend.

Ok augustish it is. I'll look up the ealdormere schedule and won't have it during pennsic cause I'll be at it.

BTW if anyone wants to fly in I can pick you up and drop you off from toronto international airport.

James it'll be nice to see you all growed up.

No idea where miniapolis is.

Hugh you're the guy I met at pensic a few years back right?

I don't have a 220 outlet for a welder set up. Got one for my compressor but that's a different outlet. I've got a 110 welder though.

I live on 99 acres and about 97 of it is bush so yeah there's stumps. It's better if you don't bring stumps across the border they don't like it.

Think that covers stuff guess it's up to me to pick a date now.

Oh yeah there's tourist things in the area for wives and kids or husbands and kids depending on who's swinging the hammer.

Matt,

Yes we met at Pennsic, Talbot introduced us. I also will be there this year

Minniapolis is in Minasota ( a fair drive)

I also would be able to pick up anyone who flies into Pearson, only would have room for one other as I drive a Pickup.
