I am currently finishing up the last couple of things that I owe some folk and am prepared at this time to take five prepaid commissions for completion by the end of January. I have my paypal account squared away and ready to go, but I will still accept check or money order if needed. I am offering the following designs:

Large Standard. Approximately 22" wide by 7' 8" long. $120 including storage bag, shipping anywhere in the continental US and design help.

Short Standard. Approximately 22" wide by 6' long. $90 including storage bag, shipping anywhere in the continental US and design help.

Guidon. Approximately 22" wide by 5' long. $80 including storage bag, shipping anywhere in the continental US and design help.

Sizes are listed as approximate due to some shrinkage of fabric during the heat treatment process.

I can be reached through the archive or at the following email address: silkbanners@gmail.com

I can't see the pics! :x Can anybody post them in a different form? I'd love to see the finished product. This could make a great gift for my possible future knight...

I've gone ahead and edited the original post to display the pictures instead of linking them. If you still can't see them let me know. I can email them to you instead.

Also, when I started doing the small rectangular banners I didn't really expect them to be so popular, or to take as much time to make as they turned out to. So I will probably be changing the price on them after I get back from Estrella. They are taking me a lot longer to make than I thought originally and I've been killing my days off trying to get them done.

First, do you take paypal.

Second, please let me know the new price on the little banners. I want one for me and one for my wife, especially if they could be done in time for Gulf Wars.

Third, how do I go about starting design on a larger banner. I have arms and a motto which seems a good start. Can you recommend some other elements?

I thought I'd share a quick word on rain and these banners real quick this morning. I had my banners and the ones I made for my shire and it's members up in the rain at Estrella. They fared very well and didn't fade much that I can see with the exception of the very ends of my banners. The poles that my own banners were on were not quite tall enough to completely clear the roof of my pavilion, so they are a bit faded where they sat on wet canvas. The rest of the banner was up in the air enough that they dried off pretty quickly despite all the moisture.

Also, I'm not sure if I am going to keep doing the small rectangles. If I do I am going to have to raise the price due to the amount of labor involved in making them. It's more work and time than I really expected to make them. So I have to either raise the price or make them smaller or something.

I'm still hoping to get a 6 footer. Let me know if you need any more information for design purposes.

I'd like to join the growing waiting list too... probably for two of the six footers.

I absolutely love my banner. It survived Estrella rain without any fading and looks great. The silk is light, allowing it to fly out even when there is really no breeze and the sun makes the colors glow.

My queue is currently open and I am taking 5 more prepaid orders for completion in mid March. Please email me at silkbanners@gmail.com if you are interested. I will only be doing the shapes/sizes listed in the first post of this thread due to time constraints.
