not armour but, just finished.

Post by Estaban »

I just finished this hilt for a friend of mine, I know it's not armour but hey...
It's stainless and the horse is etched and filled with a coloured resin. The blade mounted is an Angus Trim practical rapier blade. It whistles!

I can't see any real detail........

Too much drool on the screen I guess...........

Nice, I like the folded over ends on the crossguard.

Thanks guys! It was a fun project. Designed in collaboration with my friend, he was tickled to see the plans we had drawn up together in his hand!

Eamonn: Not enough! That said I make myself expensive....

The hilt is almost mirror polished as is the pommel. The engraving of the horse was pricey too, otherwise it would have been less...

I will be at Estrella and am looking forward to meeting as many folks from the archive as I can!

You won't like them much when you fight against them, they delay swords just long enough....
I put them on my guard as well....

So what's next on the list?

I know you've got another rapier/dagger set to go, and apparently a matching dagger. :)

Every gonna get back to armour? ;)
