I presume the thread was lost in the Great Flush, as I have been unable to locate it. In any case, it involved welding aluminum tubing abound the outed edge of an aluminum shield so as to increase its edge thickness, thus eliminating the necessity of heater hose.
Did anything come of those experiments?
Or if the thread DOES still exist, can someone direct me to it, as my search-fu is apparently not strong enough for me to locate it on my own.
