Greetings
I was looking through "the knight and the blast furnace" and on page 339 I noticed a bascinet from the museum de valere at sion. I was also looking through Laking's "a record of european armour and arms" and on page 241 of vol. 1 fig. 286 I noticed a bascinet that looked simailar from valeria, museum, sitten, canton wallis, switzerland.
My questions are:
Are they the same item?
If it is the same item are there any better pictures/discriptions of the bascinet and if so where?
I'm really interested in the visor part.
