Alexander the great
I realize this board tends to favor medieval, but would anyone interested in something like this?
http://www.niximperial.biz/TN842.jpg
I'm not sure I want to part with it as it is a really nice piece. Not fit for SCA clearly, but would be great for an Alexander the Great FANatic. As a very nice display piece and it's fully wearable.
The helmet is a very nicely detailed lion head based on the original helmet Alexander was depicted as wearing. This helmet is NOT based on the one from the crappy(IMHO) movie by Oliver Stone. This is a historical representation.
It was made by Nix Imperial, and he claimed this was the last one he probably had in stock.
Plated in gold and silver, with a genuine horse hair crest(mine is blondish white, not red), and two feather plumes instead of several(pics avail upon request).
Priced around $800-900. It has been tried on a few times, has not been used in any events, nor worn outdoors.
Any interested parties drop me a line.

This link was not working for some of us earlier and the link showed a pic of an old guy and a kid. That is what Agnarr was reffering to.
