Came up with some chape designs I like.

Rounded tip- front.

Rounded tip- back. These are worked wet over a form. Hard to tell how snug they fit.

Pointy end- front.

I secure them with Gorilla Glue

Pointy from the side. They are almost 100% form-fitted. Gives the look of a flat blade to a round baton.
