Rags let me know which sizes you needed.
This was the last order due to the fact all the common sizes are gone. Actually, Im making a good many up special for you guys that needed sizes already sold out, so there might be a few days delay on a few of the orders so we can make and cook them.
All we have left is some E's and F's

Hi Garreth,
Yes, and that was B D blued.. (both have to be made up special cause we didnt have any. We cooked them today. Will be cleaned this afternoon. Probably tempered tonight. Cleaned again tomorrow or blued depending) This is for the few guys I let slide since we were already out of their sizes. Everyone else has shipped.

Mine arrived today...first pieces I've handled in spring steel...I just keep flexing them, feeling how lightweight they are, and laughing
Thanks Stonekeep!
While I'm thinking about it, what's the recommended upkeep on the bluing? Do they need to be kept lightly oiled, and if so, what oils do you recommend for this purpose?
Michael

I just use wd-40...
It will scratch eventually kinda like shiny stainless will.
To fix that pick a night/day when your wife will not be home or the neighbors wont call the fire dept (ok really its better if you do this in a grill probably..lol) but spray them liberally with wd-40 then cook them at ONLY 350 for like 30 minutes until the water is cooked off. That will do a number on the scratches and do some rust prevention as well. Main thing is dont take them up any higher than that.. lower is ok.

No, I finished blueing the B's and D's that had to be made yesterday, so they are ready to go out now. The A's and C's will probably be finished Monday. Probably would have had them all finished Mon or Tues but i had to go to the La location for a few days and got back last night and blued the first batch.

Good batches (blued) coming out today..
I expect to have all orders shipped in the AM via priority mail.
Sorry this took an extra week. We are getting killed this spring (good thing), just lots of work. Having a hard time finding more employees to put on part-time (means job market must be good though)
We are running about 4x what we did last spring so we are really putting in overtime.

I am short a set of A's so they are coming in the next batch. Plus one of them paid and one didnt. The one that did didnt leave his handle.
My secretary has an email out to the one that paidto find out his handle .
