Sallet for sale (Updated)

Post by Benalishlancer »

In preparation of my upcoming deployment, I figured I should go ahead and sell of my sallet. I picked it up on ebay a few years back. There are some marks along the top flute (probably from a grinder) that were there when I got it. Sallet was welded together, and you can see the welds on the inside, which was painted black. Very light rusting along the bottom of the visor. Only have a couple pics of it, more available on request. $100 + shipping

I've gotten a few questions and I'll answer them as best as I can. I'd say the helm is about 18 guage (sorry, but no way to measure for sure). As to the size, My head's about 24 inches, and this could definetly hold an inch or two of padding. Also, in regards to who the armorer was, I do not remember, nor is there a mark on there. If I recall correctly, it was a canadian armourer that used to crank these out and put em up on ebay. It's been in my possession for a couple years, and I can't quite recall.
