Looking for good events around Denver

Last week United announced they are running four direct flights per day to Denver after Sept. 01 .
The price is not to bad and one can grab one after work on a Friday and leave on Sunday around 2100. And United baggage policy allows for armor bags.

So any suggestions for good fighting events in or around (4 hrs/one way) Denver.
