Leather chamfron auction

Post by SirAngus »

I made this to fit my horse who passed away recently and need to make an even bigger one for my new horse. Its, I'd say 9oz leather with the ears and nose pieces water hardened. My arms can easily be painted over and there are 2 plume holders hidden behind it.

It has all the straps and holes to be attached to an existing bridle and even wool glued to the underside to keep it from chaffing.

The leather itself was etched by hand, the red is dye and the gold is acrylic.

It was designed to fit a 16.3 belgiun..

I'd like to start the auction at $75 plus shipping.

It's going until tues the 24th at 9pm..

Payment can be by paypal.

I've posted this to our local equestrian group, so hopefully you'll have some interest there. Good luck!

Dobbyn was an awsome horse.. You know whats cool? Open up the most recent issue of rennisance magazine and on the inside cover is an ad for the silverleaf renn fest in Michigan and there is a beautiful pic of me jousting on Dobbyn... It was a pleasant surprise to see it. I had no idea...

Anyways, our new boy Thunder is huge, but a sweet guy and I think will work out fine.

Could I get some more measurements on it? Found someone who's interested, pending fit.
