Icefalcon Armory Review

Post by Proxus »

Recently I purchased a set of Icefalcon Stainless Riveted Chain.

While the Armourer did not have the item in stock at the time of purchase he assured me I would have it before July. Throughout my wait time he was in communication with me providing helpful updates not only on the AA here but also via emails and phone messages. He took a deposit of 50% of the cost and charged the remainder upon shipping the item. It was delivered promptly two days later from the east coast to CA. I have since worn the chain in practice last night and while feeling like a child at christmas was very happy with the look and protection.

The only downside is I now have cosmoline on everything as the stainless steel was shipped with a light coating, and I was so eager to wear it I didn't clean it off. Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase.

On a scale of one to ten I would rate his Grace at the following:

Communication: 12
Timely Delivery: 9 (once he has more in stock it should be easier for him)
Cost: 9 (well priced)
Product look and appearance....Judge for yourself pictures attached.

About the same for me on the review.. On a personal harness note... Really nice, get some greaves and switch out the spaulders for Aliettes and WHOA right outta the pages of a history book ;) Looks good man!!!

Nice kit!

Thank you Sixtus, and Ceawlin.

You can say it's all D. Sebastian's faut with his "my kit needs xyz" thread and what improvements need to be made. I have always wanted a more period kit but I lived with the embarrassment until then of plastic. He motivated me to be more period and go for it.

Ok so Aliettes are next lol. Actually the wife is letting me get gauntlets because I bought her a new hard drive. 8) then Aliettes!!!

 Will the insanity ever end?

BTW My mom is there in CO springs. I will be out there near Christmas this year so I may have to hit you up for a fighter practice as I plan on taking a week or so to visit with the family.

Ok.. slight derail.

You can make some with hardened leather or 2 layers of hardened leather.

Should be a cheapish alternative to buying... :)

Hit me up when and if your able. I know visiting with family can be a hectic time.

Cheers
