Hey Rod are you selling the clothing as a set? If not I might take dibs on the gown depending on price.

Rod!
Say it isn't so! You have been my 15c inspiration forever. :(

I am sad about this, though very interested in your entire soft kit should you sell as a set. If the good Wolfhart does not take the gown.

:(

Hi all. There is a chap in the UK that got in first for the Gown. I will give him first option, another guy in the US and then Wolfhart and Bob.

I am asking AUD $600 +postage for the Gown. Other prices will be posted tonight as well as close up pics of everything. I have to work on fences and pick up and unload a truckload of hay today. (never ends).

I am getting out of jousting for a few reasons. This has been coming for a while. In no particular order.
I am disilluisoned with jousting, I see cheats and liars prosper. It's not about the best taking part, it is who can suck the most cock.

I have arthritic changes in my neck. Wearing harness and especially a helm is agony. The pain is always there, but wearing harness puts me out of action for a week or more.

Jenn is correct, we have gone all cowboy mounted shooting. I wish I had done it years ago. Some of this money will help pay for our guns. We are also playing polocross, campdrafting and doing other stuff with our horses. We have just purchased an Australian Stock Horse colt and have big plans for him.

Basically moving on.

As promised, more pics and prices tonight.

I am interested in the gown, let me see if I can 'work the numbers', and if the other poster who said 'dibs' wants it at that price - if he does not, then I am looking to take it away. I like you chaperone as well.

Pricing it out with the current exchange rate, nevermind shipping, I can't afford it either.

How much for the chaperone Rod? I'd like to support your quest for Cowboy guns, at least in some token way.

Rod,
in a way I am saddened to hear that you are leaving the sport. You are, and always will be one of my heroes. I can only strive to be as upstanding and tough as you are.
On the other hand, I am glad that you are moving on to something more comfortable and fun.

Id love to get in on the armour, but your just too darn small!!
do you havev measurements on the helm? I think it is the only thing I can come close to fitting, and that might be pushing it.
Now you see that evil will always triumph, because good is dumb.........
