Give us more details. It hard to see the construction from those photos since everything is white. I am concerned that the waist doesn't seem to wasp in tightly. Of course if it fits then the shape is fine. Is there any problem with the bottom of the doublet wanting to pull up when the arm is raised? What rig/country/century is this going to go with? Material and stuffing would be nice also.

There are some pictures of it that look a little better here:

Those were taken before I sewed all of they eyelets in.

The outer layer is natural color heavyweight linen. Inside are 2 layers of canvas weight linen, and there is a silk lining.

The price was lower than my normal cost and I took some shortcuts to get it that way. I didn't take as long as I usually do "fitting" the measurements. This is being warn over a padded garment that he already has, but should fit pretty tightly over it.

There shouldn't be too much problem with the sides pulling up. I used gussets under the arms which should help that unless you are raising your arms all the way over your head. Although frankly I hadn't thought about that. I will be sure to test that with the next one I do.

Likely that will be one for myself which I will be hand sewing. I'll add a layer of cotton batting to mine and quilt the layers together.

Any constructive criticism is much appriciated.

Yes, keep us updated. I would especially like to hear about how the silk lining holds up and how hot/cool it works out to be when actually worn.
