chain mail ? and problem
i have been working on a chain mail shirt for some time now and it keeps getting rust on it.
is there any thing i can do so it dose not keep rusting on me.

If it's mild steel wire there is not much you can do about it while you are working on it, nor would I worry about it. It will help if you store and work on it in an air-conditioned environment.
The way to remove the rust from maille is to tumble it in some sort of tumbler. I have a sealed 5 gallon tumbler I bought just for this purpose.
After the maille is polished, I have found dipping it in future floor polish works great to protect the maille.
