Clang Armory

Post by AElfricGreensword »

Anyone know if Clang is still doing business? Any recent dealing with Clang? I purchased a greatsword hilt from him many years ago.

I bought a couple of sneck hooks and rivet sets from him in the last year, so he's still alive and kicking- his service is excellent, though he wasn't taking new armor orders last time I checked.

Yeah he's around. My squire brother's wife just purchased a SWEET Roman helm from him.

Awsome. I'll email him and check to see if I can order the helmet.

I really like the look of his Momonari Kabuto, like the price too.

Marks still around, and kicking. He is currently putting a roof on his new shop, so his replies may be slightly delayed.

he is most certainly still around. This sweet greathelm is his handiwork.

What is not immediately obvious is that, with the addition of a hidden sheet of fencing mask, it is SCA cut-and-thrust legal.

the chinstrap is a little hinky, but it is otherwise amazing. Overall level of protection is just retardedly tank.

I had an email from Mark (Clang), he'll be starting a "run" of Japanese helmets fairly soon, from inquiries from the last couple of years.

So, now I wait for him to check in that he'll be starting the run of them, and I can grab a spot in his queue
