Serbian Despot and his Seneschal

Post by kersme »

The Despot is around 1355.
Seneschal a bit later.

The Despot is great, seneschal needs a bit more work but I've finally got a kit together even if it isn't perfect so I'm happy. There is a bit of western influence there as my kit is based on someone from the coast. (there was a lot of trade going on with Italy and other places.)
So what do you think (bare in mind its my first full kit :) )

Pretty cool stuff! We don't see Balkan, or Eastern European portrayals very often.

I am fascinated by the 15th century infantry (the lightly armed auxiliaries, not the "Black Legion"), in Mathias Cornovus's Book of Hours, but I have never seen anybody attempt such a portrayal.

Do you have harness? All I can find is your soft kit. If you do, I was wondering if you have one of those whopping big gorgets of plate or scale, you see in art of the early 14th century.
