registering your maker's mark

Post by Magmaforge »

Chronique.com has a database you can enter your armoruer's mark in here
http://www.chronique.com/Library/Armour/marks.htm

perhaps the Armour Archive would be interested in making a page dedicated to displaying maker's marks freely, and perhaps examples of the better historical ones?

I was looking at Cad's Rhodes armour book last week. In addition to photos and descriptions of tons of ormour they showed armour marks if they were present on the piece. Need to see if Cad can scan some of them in.
