Archive work in progress

Post by Galon »

I have posted version one of the archive faq.

I will be working on the links and hopefully getting the essays and the pattern archive reupdated...

is there anything anyone can think of while I am at it?

how about a gallery for peoples current projects/new tricks? I know ild love to see everybodies stuff and get comments on my own stuff, too. I've seen the "gallery of kits
' page, iforget the url, it's up there in the scroll bar, i'm sure, but that's really not what i have in mind. Just a thought since you did ask for comments Image

How about an illustrated armour timeline? Questions like, "What kind of armour did they wear in England in the middle ages?" pop up periodically.

I feel that the Order of the Archive section should be changed to a multi-org event calender OR a seperate board dealing with chivalric philosophy. Just an idea.

You are leaving off the end of tables... at least that is what it looked like when I looked at the page source. Some browsers ignore a table completely if it doesn't end with {/table} (replace with appropriate symbols)

Thats it... I think... Sloppy Image

I went back and checked...

For some reason you are hacking off {/table} at the end of the second table, and since all the information is in one... well, nothing appears.

Its like that on the front page, and the faq page...

Just insert that one tag at the bottom of both pages and all should be ok.

Also... Just one other thing... the grammar on the faq page is horrible... And, alot of the answers are in the first person, but we don't know who is talking... sounds weird.

I would have put this up on the admin board, but you guys never check that Image

The chat button at the bottom of the pasge still links to the .com rather then the .org version of the site.

Don't worry over the critiques. We will all be most impressed when you are done. Image
