FS: Klapp Faced Bascinet -$100

I have a new, 14g stainless steel munition grade klapp faced bascinet for sale. I am asking $100 + shipping for this helmet.

This helmet has an inside measurement of 26", a side to side measurement of 8", a front to back measurement of 9", and a top to bottom measurement of 11 1/2" ( 15" for the face plate).

I'd be interested in getting something like this after the first of the year. Funds are tight right now.

So any chance that I could get you to make just a stainless klappvisor face like this one for my existing helm? I can send an outline tracing and particulars on the pivot lug.

Well I pointed this out to one guy but as far as I know nothing has come of it. I'll be seeing a new guy on Sunday at workshop. I will point him this way if the helm's still around..

Yes, the chance is good. Send me the tracing. I am asking $50 for the face plate out of 14g stainless. Be aware that I consider this to be munition grade.

I understand that you do "munitions grade" armour (most of my armour was munitions grade) but I enjoy finishing work and I like the lines of your klappvisor face.

Could you please post or PM your address and how much shipping will be? USPS is much cheaper than UPS to Alaska. I have the tracing ready to send as soon as I have the total and address. About how long might this take?
