Belt Plaque Auction
Belt Plaque Auction
What I have for auction is 20 belt pewter belt plaques. 10 of each style shown below. The auction is for all 20 plaques, though if more are needed, they can be added for an additional charge of the winning bid divided by 20 per extra plaque.
Winner pays shipping of choice. Shipment will go out the next business day upon receipt of confirmed funds, or clearing of personal check. Payment will be asked for once the additional work on each plaque is finished. (Extra plaques, and colorization.)
Each plaque can be filled with the available color of your choice. Available colors are blue, green, red, yellow, and black. All colors except for black are translucent. I have given examples of the blue and red colors.
Each plaque is pre-drilled for riveting to a belt. We commonly use dome-head framing nails as the rivets.
Plaque sizes are approximately 1.75" square. Each plaque is individually sand cast, so there are some minor flaws.
I will not announce a scheduled end to the auction to prevent sniping.

(on Pennsic) I know that movie. It is the 13th warrior. A bunch of guys in armour that doesn't match itself or anybody elses, go on a trip and argue and get drunk and get laid and then fight Tuchux.

I've done custom work in the past, but my time right now is very limited. Especially with Estrella coming up in the near future.
If you'll PM me with what you want, I can try to come up with something. Then we can negotiate a price and a timeframe. I make no promises though. My artistic abilities are less than stellar, and the company I used for the original computer milling is no longer in business so anything I make has to be done by hand entirely.
In short, I can do custom work but it might not meet your expectations or timeframe. The only plus side to that is I won't charge anything until the plaques are completed and ready to ship.
