Post by Pyromichael »

alright, i've been making chainmail a while, and decided to try plate, well i'm in the process of making a bracer, and can't find a planishing ball for the life of me, i want to find some cheap alternative (poor high schooler) could you guys suggest something for a temporary use? wanna see if i'm any good before i get spending a lot on tools an whatnot for it, any suggestions would be great, thanks.

Its all because your in high school.

In college youll find all kinds of tools....

but you wont be able to afford them.

Only after you graduate will you be able to afford the tools...

but you wont have the time to use them.

Sucks eh!

Towball off the back of a car should work well.

Ornamental Iron Work. The sort of things you get on top of gate post's. They come in a range of sizes. Can be welded on to a stake and polished and the best thing is that they are relatively cheap.
