Suspension helmet liner.....

I'm looking at doing a suspension liner for a Norman conicle shaped helmet.

The idea I have in mind is to run a ring of padding around the bottom inside edge, and then attach a suspension liner from the outside that will fold up and in covering the bottom edge of the helmet as well as the edge pad.

Non-sport combat helmet.

Any comments on wear or feasability?
