Re: Heads up: Selling my armour

Understood my brother. I'm 15 years deep on an Adam Berry helmet I use all the time, keep thinking "this is getting near the end of it's life maybe it's time to find something new." Then I see a pic of myself wearing it and just cannot imagine a different kit. For anyone that does this their is an e...

Re: Oniotop bascinet and 2 visors

Thank you sir, I put a bid in and we'll see where it goes. Looking for a helmet specifically for a deed of arms kit so something that will be worn at the Combat of the Thirty at Pennsic and possibly once or twice a year beyond that so if I get a deal on this one I'll refurb it if I can make it fit a...

Re: Oniotop bascinet and 2 visors

The liner looks pretty beefy, how much larger do you think it could go and still allow for good 1/2 inch padding (i.e. the stuff from Craig Nadler not blue camp foam)? Interested but I have a 23 1/2 in cranium give or take and prefer to still be able to spell my name after a days fighting. Thanks Will

Re: Looking for: allbeststuff gambeson review

I too have contemplated buying one and when I checked shipping to Buffalo, NY it was around $22. We have an armorer local that buys all his mail from them for helmets and has not had any quality issues. For under $60 I keep saying this is a "you get what you pay for" scenario but my primary kit is 1...

Re: Pricing Oak Glastonbury Chairs

I just spoke to Eigil at AEthelmearc War Practice and he quoted me $600 for a pair of his high back chairs. I think the ones he had with him were ash and the cost went up from there based on the type of wood. I believe the higher end was $750.

Hope that helps

Thanks Harry I'm hoping to have something before Spring Crown in May so shipping from EU would likely be restrictive both time and cost wise. Price is $965+ shipping correct?

Where is it shipping from to help determine shipping costs?

What is it made of mild or stainless and what gauge?

For those who import goods into the US, and with our Canadian friends and the whole crew of European armorers who are doing great work it's becoming more common, a change has been signed into law as part of the Trade Facilitation and Trade Enforcement Act of 2015 also referred to as the CBP Reauthor...
