Online maunscripts?
Since it seems that the painted chests are gonna be a
regular thing for me, I need to do some research to find
more source material so that I'm not repeating the same
images over and over....
I'll admit I haven't gone looking for a while
and I'm gonna share the links I have...
I'm looking for more links to online manuscripts
with a personal interest focused in 14th century European

( the above is my favorite so far for images, something in this
basic style would be great! )

Maciejowski's 13th century; you may want to knock that off your list.

One of my favorite sites not listed already:
http://liberfloridus.cines.fr/textes/biblio_fr.html
And another:
http://www.e-codices.unifr.ch/en
http://www.chd.dk/
(It's slow looking through my list o'links for duplicates, a lot have already been listed.)
Ain't it great how many manuscripts are available digitally now?

This one is a catalog of every manuscript you can find online. I didn't look to see if anyone has posted it yet, but it's being updated regularly as new manuscripts are added to different sites on the web. Searchable by many different options.

More 13c manuscript
Here is a late 12/early 13c sword and buckler treatsie. It is the earliest known fighting manual found so far. It is commonly known as MS I.33, the catalog number in the Royal Library museum (UK).

Looks like they've futzed with that section of the site ... try these links for May, July, and September from the Anglo-Saxon Calendar, and January, August, and October from the Julius Calendar.Baron Conal wrote:Julius calendar is giving me 'page not found'

Hmm, another section to fix. The KB website seems to have stopped linking to the bigger versions there, but you can still get to them from the Medieval Illuminated Manuscripts website -- type 76 F 13 in the "Shelfmark" blank.Baron Conal wrote:the Fecamp Psalter only gives me very small images...

Re: Online maunscripts?
I just found the British Library collection of manuscripts online with an awesome search function - unlike last time I saw it, this time there's full referencing and high resolution scans of each one. Yay!
Here is a link to the simple search function. I found great 14thC resources by searching in the year range 1350-1415 using terms like 'Omne Bonum', 'st denis', 'christine de pizan' and 'bible' to find some of the really nice ones):

Here are a few of the gems I've found on it so far (you can get the full reference from the link):
1410-1414 Christine de Pizan's Book of the Queen
