Good grief. I can't believe I've been tending this thread for 3 years now. Couple things. 1. IF A PLASTIC BASKET HILT IS PROMINENT IN THE PICTURE, IT'S NOT GOING IN THE FIRST POST. PERIOD. NO PLASTIC BASKET HILTS. 2. Guys, you need to remember Rule 3. I can't tell you how many kits I would love to put up here, but it's of you in your backyard with your pool furniture or some crap like that. Put your awesome armour on, go stand in the smoking ruins of an enemy castle, get a pic of it, and then we'll talk. Remember, THIS THREAD IS NOT ABOUT YOU, IT'S ABOUT REHABILITATING THE NERDS. 3. Apparently, your image can only be 800 pixels high. LAME.

A couple of other notes; All fighting disciplines in the Society are welcome in this thread. This is a Society recruitment thread, after all. I'd particularly love to see some siege stuff, equestrian, steel-fighting, archery (of all kinds), and whatever else you can do in the Society.
My criteria are entirely subjective based on how much coffee I've had when I hit the 'edit' button. But, I do want to see as accurate, neat, and tidy as possible. Raise the bar, people. Avoid blatant SCA-ism as possible; if we're trying to recruit, then having trimlock edging on your pig-face bascinet it just ruins the mood.
And lastly, remember, geek rehabilitation. Get them away from their Wow screens and onto the field.

Also, please to be noting - although this thread is somewhat-sorta permanent, it has to get trimmed occasionally so that poor JT doesn't have fits. So DeCalmont & I work together on trimming it on occasion. Don't panic if some of your stuff disappears. Keep in mind the guidelines - we're not trying for pictures to recruit you, we're looking for geek rehabilitation here. Cheers!
